¶ Switch User Group
Move a user from their current group to a different one, for example from Trainee to Trainer.
¶ Change a user's group
- Select User Management > Groups.
- Find the user. Use Group Type to show one group at a time, or Search by Email or Username.
- Select CHANGE GROUP in the user's row.
- In the Change Group dialog, the user's current group is selected. Choose the new group from the drop-down.
- Select UPDATE. Select CANCEL to close the dialog without changing anything.
¶ The groups
There are five groups.
| Group | What the group can do |
|---|---|
| Admin | Has complete access to the application and can perform every operation |
| OPS | Can start and stop labs |
| Read-Only | Has complete read-only access to the application |
| Trainee | Can connect to a lab and start and stop their own assigned lab |
| Trainer | Can connect to any individual trainee's lab, and can start and stop a complete lab assigned to them |
